How fresh is AMKA's data?

Not every financial product changes on the same schedule. AMKA labels current market data differently from annual declarations, periodic performance reports and reference snapshots.

Current

Market-sensitive data

MMFs, Treasury Bills, FX and similar data are reviewed more frequently because the numbers can move quickly.

Periodic

Reporting-cycle data

Pensions, REITs and fund performance may only be comparable when a provider or regulator publishes a new report.

Annual

Declarations

SACCO dividends and rebates are normally annual declarations, so AMKA does not label them as live market rates.

AMKA's publication rule

A newer number is not automatically a better number. AMKA prefers a dated, attributable figure whose meaning is clear. Where evidence is incomplete or periods are not comparable, the site should say so rather than fill the gap with an unverified percentage.
