FAQ

Common questions.

Short answers about Amka, accounts, rankings and the Freedom Plan.

Is Amka free?

Yes. Rate comparisons, articles and calculators are available without an account. An account is currently used mainly to save your Freedom Plan.

Does Amka give investment advice?

No. Amka compares and explains published information. It does not tell you which product to buy or provide personalised investment, tax, insurance or lending advice.

Why do MMFs appear highest to lowest?

The public table is sorted mechanically by the available published figure. That makes comparison easier; it is not an Amka recommendation or endorsement.

Where do the numbers come from?

Amka prefers regulators and primary providers, then other credible published sources when needed. Every comparison should keep the date and source link available. See Methodology.

What is the Freedom Number?

It is the illustrative invested amount that would generate your chosen monthly expense at the annual return assumption you select. The Freedom Plan also estimates how long it could take to reach that number from your starting amount and monthly investing. Returns can change.

Do I need an account?

Not for normal comparisons or calculators. Create an account only if you want to save your Freedom Plan and access it later.

What if account creation says there were too many requests?

Wait before requesting another signup or reset email. Amka now prevents repeated taps from sending duplicate requests and shows a clearer message when the authentication email service is temporarily rate-limited.

How do I report a wrong figure?

Use Talk to Amka and include the page, figure and supporting source link.
